Colour is the cheapest thing you can change and the easiest thing to get wrong. Florida light is bright, warm, and reflective — it pushes greys blue, makes beiges go yellow, and turns a shade that looked perfect on a card into something you cannot live with.
Test on the wall, in the room, over a day
A paint chip held against a wall tells you almost nothing. Colour behaves according to the light around it, the floor beneath it, and the sky outside the window. We sample large, on more than one wall, and look again in the evening before committing.
What we check before choosing anything
- Which direction the main windows face, and what is outside them
- The undertone of the flooring and the cabinetry you are keeping
- How the colour reads under your actual bulbs after dark
- Whether the room needs to connect to an adjoining space or stand apart from it

Do you do paint colour consultations on their own?
Yes. A colour consultation is a standalone visit where we walk the house, look at how your light actually behaves through the day, and leave you with specific paint selections. It is the cheapest way to buy back a room that has never felt right.
Can you help if I am not selling my house?
Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. Interior design and decorating for people staying in their homes runs from a single room refresh to a whole-house furniture plan, working with the pieces you want to keep.
